Yup! I had the baby!

Xander was born on February 21, at 12:41 am. 7 lbs, 6 oz, 20 1/2 inches long.

9 months of waiting, 25 hours of labor, and a tiny human to show for it. :3 But it's my tiny human.

I CAN EAT FOODS NOW. YAY

And Dr. Pepper. How I missed thee.

So I'm gonna be taking a break from the stories for a little while.

Honestly, I've been so busy preparing for a new baby, I haven't had the energy or the inspiration to write. I may upload a couple of chapters here and there, but for the most part, it might be a while before there's another update. The newest addition is due in late February, so there's really not much time left!

Hopefully, once everything has settled down again, and I've gotten into a new groove with being a mom, I can get back to the stories.  

And yes, we know the gender. We're having a little boy. His name is Xander, and is already spoiled rotten, haha! XD

But until then, visits will be few and far in between. *sad face*

So finally, after nearly a month, Patches'  new cage is finally finished! It's about the size of a 30 gallon tank, so it's nice and roomy for him. I got him some new chews and a cute little hut, and I made him a platform to climb around on.

I spoil all my animals. Even the little ones. :3

He's  a little unsure about it right now, but it's just him adjusting to a bigger environment after being in a little cage  for so long. I think he'll be much happier now.

Come February of 2017, there will be a new member of the household.

That's right, you read that right.

I'm gonna be a mommy! And not for another furbaby either!

It came as quite the surprise for all of us, as my husband and I were planning to wait until I graduated college before trying to start a family. Apparently fate had other plans for us~

Currently, I'm 7 wks and 3 days, the little red bean (nickname from my husband) is a whole centimeter long and has a healthy heartbeat of 164 bpm. I wanted to wait for confirmation of the heartbeat before sharing with everyone. ^_^

So now ya know!

I really freaking hate Pokemon.

There, I said it. I know I'm gonna get a lot of flak about it, but--

Come ON already? This was popular, what, 15 years ago? Let it die already!!

It's the gaming equivalent of Naruto. It just never seems to end.

And now my facebook (really any social media I go onto) is flooded with this stupid Pokémon Go. Just stop. Stop. I hate getting online anymore because that's all I see. First of all, if you weren't even around when Pokémon was first introduced, don't touch it. You know nothing. Secondly, if you're in your thirties running around trying to "catch" pokemon, you seriously need a better hobby. Or at least better taste in anime/games. I can suggest a few.

Again, this is an unpopular thought for my age group, sooo....yeah.

Fuck it, bring it on. Haters gonna hate, I guess.
